The Pro Prime C243, an iconic Louisville Slugger turning model thanks to its huge barrel profile, is back with a fresh new look. A high-gloss black handle fades into a neon yellow barrel with black Seamless Decals. A re-engineered surface hardening process, including our Professional Series Finish cured with UV light treatment, results in bats 30% harder than previous Louisville Slugger Prime models.

Craftsman-Style Cup – Louisville Slugger completely re-engineered Craftsman-Style Cup features a thicker width edge along the end of the barrel, lending added strength and durability to the end of the bat to help reduce chipping and cracking.

Seamless Decals – Applied directly under our high-definition topcoat, the iconic center brands and back brands blend into the bat almost as intricately as the grain of the wood itself

Professional Series Finish – An enhanced resin material, paired with an ultraviolet light finishing process, results in a bat 30% harder than previous Louisville Slugger Prime wood bats with mirror-like appearance on gloss models

UV Light Treatment – A specialized ultraviolet lamp generates a chemical reaction within the topcoat to immediately cure and harden the material

Pro Hardened – Steel rods generate a combination of pressure and heat to compress the wood of the bat and create a harder, denser surface along the entire length of the barrel
